On 23 July, Shaun held a meeting with Sandwell Council to discuss the Active Spaces Trial on Gospel Oak Road, Princes End, Tipton.
Sandwell Council recently secured funding from Sport England, via the West Midlands Combined Authority, to improve an area of land within Sandwell, with the aim of providing local people a space to be more active, improve their wellbeing and even potentially act as an area for education.
The area adjacent to Gospel Oak Road has been chosen as the desired location, and Sandwell Council is now looking for engagement from local residents to best decide how to use the land.
