Last Friday, 14 May 2021, Shaun met with Quantum Print and Packaging's managing director Giles Foden for the second time and later met with residents of Temple Way, Tividale, to discuss issues surrounding the local area.
At Quantum Print and Packaging, Shaun went on a tour around the very busy production warehouse. Quantum has been extremely busy and has worked right through the pandemic. They create bespoke boxed packaging for all sorts of clients, from people selling produce at farmers markets, to big brands such as Turtle Wax and Grenade Health Foods. They are a proud local company employing local people with no one living more than a 20min car journey from the warehouse.
Later that day, Shaun discussed the need for safer roads with residents of Temple Way. Residents have suffered from a number of road issues. Most notably, a nearby crossing at a busy junction, heavily used by primary school children to walk to school, and a local bridge, left in disrepair, causing further danger to local school children.
