After closing in January due to the Covid-19 pandemic, schools reopened across Wednesbury, Oldbury and Tipton today. Shaun Bailey MP was delighted by this, saying, "I can not overstate the importance of students being able to get back to school. As we follow the Covid-19 Roadmap out of lockdown, we will have to grapple with the consequences of the last year. For me, ensuring children from communities like Tipton Green and Princes End can catch-up has to be a priority. As their member of parliament, I will do everything I can to help them and stop any educational disparity as a result of the pandemic."
