This week, Shaun met with the the Bradley Canal Restoration Society and local residents to discuss the ongoing issue of flooding next to what used to be a fully functioning canal. As you can see by the pictures, local residents are very concerned by the damage caused recently by the flooding and Shaun will be working with them in the future to tackle this matter.
A historical landmark for the local community and completed in 1849, Bradley Canal included nine locks, and had a number of basins which enabled it to service local collieries and industrial sites.
