Over August, Shaun has presented May, June and July’s ‘Pub of the Month’ winners their very own tankard.
May 2021 - The Rising Sun
The Rising Sun's Owners, Macca and Julie have worked so hard to support the Tipton community, both pre and post-pandemic, and this award was very well deserved. Not only do they have a great selection of drinks, but their cobs are a local stalwart. Make sure you get down there and try one when you're next in Tipton!
June 2021 - Tivi'ale
Tivi'ale Micro Bar has worked tirelessly to support its local community through-out the pandemic and it is so nice to see it slowly bouncing back, now that restrictions have eased. Shaun was thrilled to be joined by Sandwell’s newest local Councillor, Emma Henlan, to present the prize.
July 2021 - Ye Olde Leathern Bottel
Finally, Ye Olde Leathern Bottel was an amazing sight to behold, this fantastic pub was built in 1510, however, its most recent landlords - Karl and Dean, took over 4 years ago. They have transformed our oldest 'local' into a pillar of Wednesbury - thank you to all of those who nominated them!
