Last week, Shaun Bailey, MP for Wednesbury, Oldbury and Tipton, filmed the above video to show case the difficulties that many residents, including himself, experience when commuting via Great Bridge Island.
Roads are vital for manufacturing businesses, industry and local residents across Wednesbury, Oldbury and Tipton, who use them every day to get around. Congestion, like that which Shaun saw last week, costs the economy millions of pounds every day and disrupts families. It is, therefore, important this issue is taken seriously and improvements are made to roads where this occurs.
Many constituents have already been in touch with suggestions about how to improve the island and what investment Shaun should be lobbying for. As a result, Shaun is launching a survey to collate residents' opinions on improving congestion at Great Bridge Island. Please fill in the survey below to let him know your thoughts.
